When you hire R&D for auto body dent repair our technicians start by examining the amount of damage first. In most cases we remove the body panels, the interior panels and tail lights as needed. We do this for the purpose of accessing the dent from the inner side of where the depression is on the surface. We do this so that we can reverse the damage from the blow and then use technician tools to restore the damaged surface back to its original position.
If the hollow or depression in the surface is extreme or the dent is too deep to simply extract, in order to repair the dent (or severe scrape) we smooth out the area that has been crushed until it is level with the original surface. Sometimes in these cases, there will be paint damage as well that may have to be addressed.
